Whenever I close my eyes,
I see us together.
But as soon as I open them,
we are apart.

You were my moon,
shining on me in the dark night.
But I was your sun
and that was too much for me.

You saw me as a princess,
which I was not.
I thought I know you,
but I did not.

 You ask me, what's wrong.
I never tell, for I'm afraid
you'll leave. And now
it's too late, for you have gone away.
